Lessons in road traffic rules in Milan
1. Never take for granted that at a marked pedestrian crossing that traffic will stop and allow you to cross (also look in the opposite direction that your instincts tell you)
2. If you are having trouble finding a park just drive down the footpath and find a good spot under a tree - no need to take care of pedestrians on a footpath on a Sunday
