IFLA will come to a close on Thursday afternoon I will be moving on the Ghent, Lund then Paris - three countries in fours days - phew!
I have some items to talk to each of these institutions about - but are there things you want me to look into, questions you would like to ask.....fire away and i will do my best to accommodate during these visits
(I am assuming that there might be at least one person reading my ramblings)

ReplyDeleteThese two are probably on your list but here goes. At Ghent University my interest is sparked by the Academic Bibliography - resourcing and process involved and the Copyright free book scanning project - again resourcing and process.
I'll check Lund University later today and fire some questions off.

ReplyDeleteI'm really interested in how records or information management programs are promoted internally (so although archives stuff is more easily promoted via exhibitions etc) - how do records management or less 'sexy' concepts get promoted? Is the web used, is it more face to face training - could be relevant in any compliance type area - like doesn't have to be records concept - could be promotion of copyright etc. Any weblinks or brochures that look good - would be appreciated!
